Picture the Heath is an annual drawing and painting exhibition which celebrates the Heath and its surrounding area, organised by Hampstead School of Art, an Art Fair Day exhibition - part of Hampstead Summer Festival annual events.  It is open to everyone 16+ and exhibited and judged during Hampstead Summer Festival Art Fair Day in Keats House Garden on Sunday 23th June.
The theme is open, but must be suitable for community viewing.

FAQs

How do tickets work?

  • One Eventbrite ticket represents one artwork entry we will receive from you.

  • Maximum of 3 entries.

  • The physical event, HSF Art Fair, is free admittance and does not require tickets to attend.

How do I deliver the work?

  • Artwork must be appropriately packaged & fully labelled (your name/the event/contact details/artwork details).

  • Canvases in stiffy bags/padded/bubble envelopes. Sculptures secured in boxes.

  • To Hampstead School of Art's office by Saturday 15th of June, during office hours - Mon-Thurs | 9am-6pm - please call the office beforehand if you need to deliver between 6-8.30pm.

What is the maximum size of work?

  • Canvases/boards max: 60x60cm. Either framed (no glass) or unframed. Must have a taut hanging wire on the back.

  • Sculptures max: 30x30cm

Can the frame have glass?

  • No. All framed work must be under perspex.

Who decides the price?

  • The price of the work should be decided by yourself. You can find advice on pricing your work here.

  • + 30% commission.

How will I get paid?

  • Hampstead School of Art will send payment via Bacs no later than 28 days after we have received your payment details.
